Whitney and I work different schedules. So our mornings usually consist of the following interaction:

“Morning.”
“Morning.”

I hope she knows how much I love and appreciate her, even when I fail to say so.

Whit graciously hosted our friends for dinner last night which required a trip to the store with two girls and a feverish mad dash cleaning frenzy to make the house presentable.

I’m so thankful that she’s willing to do things like that. And, I’m thankful that our relationship includes these particular friends.

Whitney and I share a mentor who eventually became my best man and our first-born’s godfather. I love that she looks up to him like I do.

So do her daughters.

Whit’s had a ROUGH week, man. But things are looking up and I look forward to her feeling normal again. I hate when she feels sick and I’m glad she’s on the mend.

Feb 18

Fordi hun elsker Skam, selv om hun ikke vil innrømme det.

Feb 15

Because she, on a much needed sick day, cared for both girls and dealt with a half-dozen contractors when our house flooded. Whitney is superwoman.

Feb 12

Because she’s wearing her fancy Norwegian sweater today 🙂

And, because she never gives up on me, I know that she’ll see this today.

I love you, Whit.
